ವಿಶ್ವ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಯುಎನ್ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ 1948 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾಯಿತು

ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳು:
ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮನ್ವಯ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು.
ವಿಶ್ವಸಂಸ್ಥೆ, ವಿಶೇಷ ಏಜೆನ್ಸಿಗಳು, ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಆಡಳಿತಗಳು, ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಗುಂಪುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸೂಕ್ತವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಇತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಸಹಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು.
ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳ ಕೋರಿಕೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲು.
ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಗುಂಪುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು.

ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಂದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಯಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಅಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಭೆ ಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ
ಸೆಕ್ರೆಟರಿಯಟ್:
ಸಚಿವಾಲಯವು ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಂತಹ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡಳಿತ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರಬಹುದು.
ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವಂತಹ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಸೆಂಬ್ಲಿಯಿಂದ ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

👉To act as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work.
👉To establish and maintain effective collaboration with the United Nations, specialized agencies, governmental health administrations, professional groups and such other organizations as may be deemed appropriate.

👉To promote cooperation among scientific and professional groups which contribute to the advancement of health.

👉Health assembly is composed of member states
👉 Each Member is represented by not more than three delegates, one of whom is designated by the Member as chief delegate.

👉 The Secretariat comprises the Director-General and such technical and administrative staff as the Organization may require.
👉The Director-General is appointed by the Health Assembly on the nomination of the Board on such terms as the Health Assembly may determine.
